About Us

Back in the late nineties, Gianfranco (pictured on the left) and close friends like Pablo (pictured on the right) were part of a small group of college students in Latin America who shared a deep passion for cars. They were young, hungry, and admired their own cars as if they were top-notch. Perhaps they were, or perhaps they weren’t—but love is love. 

They cherished their day-to-day cars—whether American, European, or Japanese—and treated them with the utmost respect, always striving to make them better, stronger, and more beautiful in their eyes.

Over the next 25 years, life took them in different directions, across industries such as engineering, marketing, retail, consulting, and business management. Now, with kids and beautiful families, their passion for cars remains as strong as ever. 

As a corporate executive and Italian citizen with roots in Giovinazzo (IT) and Lugano (CH), Gianfranco traveled the world, building global partnerships and fueling his admiration for cars. In 2019, Gianfranco permanently relocated to the New York Greater Area in the United States, where he realized that the thrill of owning and driving a dream car—whether on the road, in the garage, or parked in a quiet spot—is a universal experience.

Fueled by the belief that best-in-class car restoration makes dream cars attainable and that passion can unite different worlds, geographies, and expertise, Gianfranco founded GP Restoworks LLC. He brought this vision to life, partnering with friends like Pablo and other experienced car restorers to bring the first few cars to the U.S., marking the beginning of an exciting journey.
